While not required, it is helpful to create a dedicated user account for your Mac so that you can customized it for the training video without messing with your current day-to-day settings. An added advantage of setting up a dedicated user account is that you basically will have most of the settings set the next time you use this account.
Set up a dedicated new user Mac account for recording:
From the Apple menuselect System Preferences… and then select Users & Groups
Click on the Lock icon at the bottom of the screen that appears and in the dialog box that appears, enter username and a password and then click the Unlock button.
Click the plus (+) sign at the bottom of the screen and then:
Select Administrative from the New Account drop down
Add a Full Name
Add an Account Name
Add a Password and then verify it
Create a Password hint
Click Create User
Log out of your current account and log into the new account
Once you are signed into the new account, select don’t sign in radio button
Click the Continue button
In the dialog box that appears, click the Skip button and then the Continue button until completed
