Using the webcam (web camera) is like regular recording except the input of the webcam is being recording instead of the screen. Before you use the webcam:
Check your appearance in a mirror.
Check the background behind you for any distraction.
If you are using a green screen, ensure it is evenly lit and ensure the there is no green in the subject (or whatever color screen you have)
Look at the webcam so that it appears you are looking at your audience and not looking "up" at the audience.
Ensure you are well light from the front and the back if there are shadows.
You don’t have to use a webcam throughout your video. An intro and outro video are nice to let people match a face to a name.
You are not limited to the thumbnail view of the video in your project, you can scale the webcam video up to full screen and even mask it with a shape (e.g., circle) or even animate it to move out of the way of your presentation or even scale it larger or smaller if needed.
The webcam and screen are recorded separately to change the size and add behaviors, etc.
The webcam will appear on top of the screen recording in the Timeline.
To hide the webcam, drag-and-drop a custom animation to the CTI and set the opacity property to zero. To show the webcam again, drag-and-drop another custom animation to the CTI and set the opacity back to 100.
